HSBC One Trading Bar 理財吧!

Event Celebrity Line-up

Thrilled to share the activation for HSBC One’s 撐你每個第一試 (Here For Your Every First) campaign: 理財吧 (The Trading Bar), curated by Narrow Door! Instead of running traditional seminars, we collaborated with the hip bar 建民號 (Kinsman) to create an immersive pop-up that blended investment essentials with bespoke cocktails. We raised the bar for Gen Z engagement and supporting their “first” step into investing. The event generated exceptional buzz, captivating both financial media and key lifestyle & F&B influencers. Here’s a look at what happened:

Investment-themed Cocktails

Seven cocktails were created by the mixologist from Kinsman, each named after a popular trading jargon, such as 返家鄉 and 割韭菜.

Investment Games

We created a seamless digital journey from the moment our guests stepped into the bar. Every guest was given $100 in electronic money as a startup fund. They can earn or lose money in different experience zones, such as:

Cocktail Trading Floor

Guests watched an electric board displaying the “7 Active Cocktails”, whose prices fluctuated based on real-time supply and demand. This dynamic game simulated the unpredictability of the financial market, challenging participants to identify the best moment to buy.

King of Darts

This game drew a parallel between investing and darts: higher rewards come with higher risk. Participants practiced risk management and decision-making by aiming for targets on the dartboard to earn rewards, learning that a calm mindset is key to hitting the bullseye.

Custom For You

By answering a few questions, participants decoded their investment personality and received a custom cocktail based on the test result, offering insight into building a personal wealth portfolio.

Special Guest Appearances

To heighten the social sensation, we invited Yan Ting (周殷廷) and Serrini as our guests of honour for surprise appearances at the event, where they shared their investment experiences and tips for successful living with the crowd.

Lucky Draw — “Very First” Blind Box

As a finale, we incorporated the popular “blind box” trend, presented in the form of medicine cabinet (百子櫃). After completing simple “very first” tasks, guests could draw a blind box for a chance to win exciting prizes.
