BYFA collaborated with EGLTours (東瀛遊) as a consultancy for the campaign《帶父母去旅行》with a heartfelt video, promoting family travel. This campaign resonated with many of us who take our parents on trips. 

The Idea

Stephen Chung, founder of BYFA Consultancy, shared, “This is the first time in my career I’ve shot my own story. It’s not just another commercial but my testimonial. This is a story of my family travel after COVID, and the story of every family after COVID.”

In modern times, where information is readily accessible and individuals can easily arrange their own trips, it’s essential to redefine the value of organised tours. In the post-COVID era, many people are eager to plan family trips, cherishing their time together more than ever. Travelling with elderly family members and children presents unique challenges compared to travelling on our own. It’s crucial to ensure point-to-point transportation, pre-arranged meals, and an itinerary that accommodates the needs of every family member.

The Video

The creative execution of the 3-minute video highlights those touching moments when parents “lie” to keep their children happy saying things like, “I don’t feel tired, let’s continue,” or “the sashimi is great,” even when they might prefer a warm bowl of rice. The video captures beautifully these heartfelt emotions and the joy of family travel.
