Building on the success of Anti-Fraud Restaurant (防騙大查樓) last year, Secret Tour is proud to have partnered with Standard Chartered Hong Kong once again to launch another public education campaign—Anti-Fraud Convenience Store (防騙便利店).
The Anti-Fraud Convenience Store
The immersive pop-up store at Festival Walk transformed fraud prevention into a playful retail experience. Visitors could explore creatively designed anti-fraud products (防騙便利商品)—making anti-fraud education fun and memorable. There were three Interactive Zones at 防騙便利店:
1. Unmask the Con-venient Noodle Lies (揭開騙徒真麵目)
Lift the lid on a giant cup noodle to reveal a mystery guest.
Noodle flavours available:
- Deepfake偽人有伏味 (Deepfake Flavour)
- 收到政府通知你協助調查味 (Fishy Official Notice Flavour)
- 未授權交易你處理咗味 (Spicy Transfer Surprise Flavour)
2. Be Cautious of Sugar-coated Investment Scams (提防投資糖衣陷阱)
A giant candy wall is perfect for photos, but don’t fall for sugar-coated investment pitches.
Candy flavours available:
- 投資切忌耳仔軟糖 (Gullible Gummies)
- 投資邊有贏硬糖 (Too-Good-to-be-True Candy)
3. Stay Alert Against Online Payment Scams (電子支付要小心) (防騙要用點心)
Cute dim sum-themed items remind you to be careful when paying online:
- 難分真與餃 (Don’t be ‘Dumb’lings)
- 私隱被賣豬仔包 (Custard Info-lead Bun)
- 假冒商家魔爪 (The Claws of Fake Sellers)
Scammer Characters
We also collaborated with a local illustrator known for his cartoon character “Tai Ma Shing” (大麻成), to create several “scammer” characters for use across the pop-up store, the local financial magazine eDigest’s advertorial, a social engagement game, and a set of WhatsApp stickers.
