Neighbour Co. developed a new brand identity system for the Arts Information Centre (AIC) of the Hong Kong Arts Development Council. The new system aims to reflect the Centre’s mission and values through an iconic logomark and cohesive branding elements.

The New Logo

Drawing inspiration from the storage shelves of AIC’s archive facility, the logo features the initial “A” enhanced by three crossbars. These crossbars symbolize the Centre’s 3 core roles: knowledge sharing, connectivity, and serving as a research platform, effectively encapsulating its purpose.

The Brand Colour

The vibrant red colour chosen for the brand not only stands out but also creates a strong synergy with the Hong Kong Arts Development Council’s overarching identity. The choice of brand colour reinforces community recognition and highlights the Centre’s commitment to fostering the arts in Hong Kong.
